Jewelry Care

Each piece of Adorn jewelry is designed and made by Mandy her her Essex CT studio. She uses only the highest-quality materials in her work, which will last for decades if handled responsibly and maintained with love and care.

When you aren’t wearing your jewelry, store it separately from other jewelry to avoid tangling and to limit abrasion with other materials, preferably in an airtight container or zip-lock baggie to keep it from tarnishing.

You can easily clean your jewelry with warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. A paste of basic toothpaste works as a great tarnish remover too.
*Take care with pieces that are intentionally oxidized (which is a surface treatment patina), because the toothpaste will remove it.
Please take special care with pearls, opals and softer stones like turquoise as they are affected by moisture, lotions and perfumes.
And please never use harsh, toxic chemicals for the sake of your jewelry and the planet.

Adorn jewelry is meant to be worn, loved, and live out in the world. However, if any of your jewelry ever does need repair, I’m very happy to do it. Each repair is reviewed on a case-by-case basis; some repairs incur cost, others don't. Please contact the Studio and I’ll have a look!
